Measuring Climate Change

View the video for GEO/WRI 201: Measuring Climate Change, taught by Amanda Irwin Wilkins and Adam Maloof. Students are given the opportunity to enhance their science writing skills by working with large climatological datasets and using software and programming languages like ArcGIS and Matlab to perform analysis. They learn how to use the research and writing process recursively to hone ideas, and how to communicate original research effectively within the formal structure of journal-style scientific writing and the LaTeX typesetting language.
