Rocky's November Weekend Thesis Boot Camp

Students

Who?  You, 27 other senior thesis writer compatriots, and thesis writing group leaders from the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Writers at all stages are welcome.

What?  Focused quiet working periods and brief goal-setting sessions; healthy snacks and caffeinated beverages; a free meal pass for Sunday lunch in the Rocky dining hall; workshops with strategies to help you make real progress and outsmart your inner procrastinator; and an optional R and MATLAB workshop.

When?  Saturday November 16th - Sunday November 17th; focused work time 9 am - 1 pm both days, and 2 pm - 4 pm (afternoon optional).

Where? Rocky-Mathey library and private dining room

Why? Write/research brilliantly in the company of others: thesis writing group leaders will guide goal-setting and hold you accountable to quiet, focused research/writing, helping you to be productive.

Space is limited: sign up at THIS LINK and bring a $20 motivational deposit to the Rocky College Office by 5 p.m. on November 8 to confirm participation. The deposit will be returned if you attend both morning sessions of the workshop.
