As the Senior Financial Manager, Tracy’s role is to help strengthen the Office of the Dean of the College's financial management and planning capacity. She works with the Deans and Directors on annual budgets, financial plans and monthly reviews. She also serves as an organization-wide resource for all financial managers within the Dean of the College office on matters related to financial management, including year-end close activities and day-to-day financial operations.
Prior to this role, Tracy served as a Budget Analyst and the Administrator of the financial planning system (Hyperion) in the Office of Finance and Treasury. She was heavily involved in the University’s transition to its new financial systems (Prime), contributing to the development of the Chart of Accounts as well as Project Grant mapping and conversion.
She has extensive experience in Finance and Accounting, including twelve years as Business Manager at Peterson’s, a Nelnet company, where she was responsible for budgeting and financial planning.
