Bio/Description

Sue Giranda is responsible for the logistical management and coordination of the advising program, including the academic components of new student Orientation and faculty adviser training.  She updates advising materials for students and faculty, including handbooks for AB advisers; she also coordinates the College’s communications with the incoming class and their families, including Your Path to Princeton. Sue also supports First-Year Families Weekend and the Martin A. Dale ’53 Summer Award and Fellowship.  Sue provides budget support for the programs for which Dean Swanson is responsible.

Before assuming her current role, Sue served as a Course and Program Administrator in the Department of Computer Science where she collaborated closely with instructors, students, and the undergraduate team supporting four of the largest courses in the major.  Prior to joining the Computer Science department, Sue was a member of several residential college teams, administratively supporting first Butler College, then First College (formerly Wilson), and most recently, the opening of New College West.
