Bio/Description

As deputy dean of the college, Elizabeth Colagiuri is closely involved in all matters relating to the design and content of the undergraduate curriculum. She advises and supports academic departments and programs on academic policies and proposals, including proposals for the 250th Anniversary Fund for Innovation in Undergraduate Education. Committee assignments include: Committee on the Course of Study, Committee on Classrooms and Schedule, Council on Teaching and Learning, and Committee on Appointments and Advancements in the Lecturer Ranks (C9).

Dean Colagiuri has oversight responsibility for the Princeton Writing Program, the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Program in Teacher Preparation, the Program for Community-Engaged Scholarship, and the Program of Freshman Seminars. She serves as the University's accreditation liaison officer to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and she is the faculty athletics representative to the NCAA.

Before coming to Morrison Hall, Dean Colagiuri served as executive director of the Princeton Project on National Security and as senior special assistant to the dean at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.  She was commissioned through the Naval ROTC program and served on active duty for five years.
