Bio/Description

Bhuvan Shori is the assistant to senior associate dean of the college, Claire Fowler, and associate dean for academic advising, Cecily Swanson. She supports the academic advising and residential college programs, including coordination of the Academic Expo and faculty adviser training. She works closely with the academic departments and residential colleges to update and publish advising materials for students and faculty, including handbooks for A.B. academic advisers and directors of undergraduate studies. She coordinates the selection process for the Dale summer and postgraduate fellowships and the Shapiro prizes.

Bhuvan served as the Title IX office manager from 2015 to 2022 where she provided executive-level support to the director of gender equity and Title IX administration and other staff involved in Title IX matters. From 2008 to 2015, Bhuvan worked in Princeton’s Office of the General Counsel, where she provided legal and administrative support to senior University counsel, drawing on 15 years of experience at New York City law firms.

Bhuvan has served as a member of the executive committee of the Council of the Princeton University Community (CPUC) and as president of the South Asian Affinity Group (SAAG).
