Anya Klepikov, a lecturer in Theater and the Lewis Center for the Arts and a New York based set and costume designer, offered an exciting new freshman seminar this spring: “Creative Exploration of Color in Life and Artistic Expressions”. Students in Klepikov’s class examined a variety of sources—scientific models, stage and film sets, visual arts, and theoretical texts—to develop different ways of thinking and talking about color. Read the full story on Klepikov’s course here.

The Program of Freshman Seminars provides first-year students with a unique opportunity to work closely with a professor and a small group of students on a topic of special interest.
