Jill Dolan is the senior administrator who guides all aspects of Princeton's undergraduate academic program.

Dean’s Welcome

At a time when we are bearing witness to great change, we have an opportunity to explore the deeper meaning of higher education. I often boast that Princeton is intellectually stimulating and challenging, but at the same time, a deeply rewarding, humane community. As such, we have a chance to meet this moment with a spirit of intellectual curiosity paired with a commitment to collective well-being.

Princeton is a university committed to undergraduate education, where students work closely with distinguished faculty who care deeply about teaching and learning. We also work hard to foster an atmosphere in which we can all come to know one another well.

We invite you to form connections and seek out pursuits that you find transformational. We encourage you to explore the campus on your own to discover what will most interest you. As you do, please don’t hesitate to ask questions or to express your concerns. We’re always eager to hear from you.

With my best wishes,

Jill Dolan
